This simple but striking necklace features a long central collared jadeite bead and two round jadeite beads, all from pre-Columbian Costa Rica. It’s accented by my gold spacers, and closes with my signature gold serpent hook. The chain is handwoven in fine silver, offering a contrast to the rich gold and cool jade.
Beads of this shape were reserved for important, wealthy individuals in ancient society, and would have been worn for ceremonial occasions.
